Martha "Mollie" Rowland and William Fain
Martha A. Rowland ("Mollie") (William2, John1) was born in 1854 in Rutherford County and died about 1890, also in Rutherford County. Mollie married William G. Fain on 14 February 1876. The son of Richard Fain and his wife, Elizabeth, William was born around 1841 and died on 31 January 1882, leaving Mollie a widow with two small children. By 1890, Mollie herself had died. We assume that her two little daughters went to live with other family members, but have found no court records yet to indicate who took care of them. Both the girls married in 1897.
