Maloney Family
At this point, all we have about the Maloney family from Jefferson County, Tennessee, is the names of two brothers, John and David. This information and family link comes from the application for a Revolutionary War widow's pension by Margaret Kinkead, whose first husband had been John Maloney. In this application, David Maloney provided an affidavit and limited information about his late brother, John. All other information on David is from census records, which indicate that he (and, by extension, probably John) was born in North Carolina. In addition, Jefferson County marriage records from the early 1800s include a listing for Elizabeth Maloney; we are including her here as a possible sibling and member of this family (particularly since she also married a Kinkead).
