Martha Ann Rowland was born on 7 Jun 1846 in Rutherford County and died on 3 April 1884 in Coffee County, Tennessee. Martha Ann married Henry Philip Hart Duncan, probably in Coffee County around 1868 (we have not yet found a marriage record). Henry was born 25 September 1843 and died 22 March 1908 in the town of Duke in Jackson County, Oklahoma, according to another researcher. Henry may have married his late wife's widowed sister, Mary, after he also became a widower; Coffee County records show a marriage between H.H. Duncan and Mary E. Jones on 4 February 1889.
