Elias Rowland and Mackisa Winsett
Elias H. Rowland was the second child of Littleberry Rowland and Jane Brown; he was born in 1842, probably in Rutherford County and died sometime after 1862. He married his first cousin, Mackisa C. Winsett, in Williamson County on 24 July 1862; she was the daughter of Harley Winsett and Matilda Brown, and the granddaughter of Lent Brown and Nancy Windrow. No further information is known at this time about Elias after his marriage, although he appears to have died by 1899; when his father's estate was settled in Rutherford County, Elias was not listed as a surviving heir.
