Daniel Brown and Martha Owen, Sarah Mullins, Arizona Harris
Dandridge S. Brown (or Daniel S. Brown, as he was generally known) was the youngest child of Lucy Rowland and James A. Brown. He was born on 15 January 1844 in Rutherford County; he died on 15 February 1931, also in Rutherford, TN, and is buried in the Old City Cemetery in Murfreesboro. Daniel was married three times and was father to a total of 13 children. He first married Martha Isabella Virginia Owen on 26 October 1866 in Rutherford County. "Belle" was the daughter of John Owen and Martha LNU; she was born on 24 May 1848 and died on 9 January 1882 from complications resulting from childbirth. Daniel's second wife was Sarah Mullins ("Sallie"); they probably married around 1883. Sallie was born in 1864 and died around 1884 in Rutherford County.
After Sarah's death, Daniel married Arizona Alice Harris on 16 July 1885; Arizona was born on 28 Aug 1865 in Patoka, Gibson Co, Indiana, and died on 26 Dec 1954 in Murfreesboro. She was the daughter of William L. Harris and Martha Jane Allen. Her father was a carpenter, who moved the family from Tennesse to Indiana, then to St. Charles County, Missouri, before returning to Tennessee.
