Peter Joseph Gough and Jane F. Readdie
Peter Joseph Gough was the eldest child of Richard Gough and Kate Ryan. He was born in Pennsylvania on 18 June 1870 and died in Philadelphia on 10 April 1912. He moved to Philadelphia in 1885 with his mother, and in 1890 was listed in the city directory as an upholsterer. We have not yet located his obituary.
Peter married Jane F. Readdie (or Readdy) in 1897 in Philadelphia. The couple ultimately had five children, although one had died by the time of the 1910 census when Jane, or Jennie, told the census enumerator that she had borne five children in all, with four still alive. Jennie's widowed brother, Richard Readdie, was living with them in 1910.
Peter died in 1912 of cardiac dilatation after suffering from influenza. We have no further information on this family but would appreciate any new information.
