Obituary of Mary Agnes (Lowrey) Houlihan
Mrs. Houlihan; Churchwoman; Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Mary A. (Lowrey) Houlihan of 146 West St., widow of John F. Houlihan, died yesterday in her home. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Denis W. and Mary (Dwyer) Lowrey, and lived here all her life.
She was a member of the Catholic Woman’s Club, the Guild of Our Lady of Providence and the Woman’s Club of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She leaves a son, John F. Houlihan of Worcester; two daughters, Grace M., wife of Dr. Edward J. Gough of Wynnewood, Pa., and Mary E., wife of Donal J. Guilfoyle of Hanover; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine T. Lowrey of Worcester and Lillian E., wife of Edmond Supernant of Newtonville, and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday from the Britton-Collins Funeral Home, 904 Main St., with a Solemn High Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
