We’ve divided this website into several different sections:
- What’s Up is the place to go for updates on new posts, maps, or other information we’ve found interesting and relevant to our research.
- What’s Up also includes a sidebar listing (right side of the screen) of all the family groups that have been posted so far. This should help you navigate through the website more easily.
- About the Rowlands includes information about our Rowland family tree, including the Branham, Rowland, Thrasher, and Whitus lines (on my father’s side) and Brewster, Cochran, Daugherty, and Davis lines (on my mother’s side). Go here to find more on these families, including some of the ancestor biographies we’ve begun researching and posting.
- About the Goughs includes my husband’s eight primary family surnames, including Dwyer, Gough, Houlihan, Kiernan, Lowrey, McCarthy, McCloskey, and McGeehan, as well as a surname index. As you can see, all of his great-grandparents emigrated to America from Ireland.
- And Ancestor Charts will include images of some of our family trees and ancestor charts to make it a little easier to see how the different family lines connect.
In addition, there’s a search field in the sidebar to help you find a specific name or location of interest.
