We know very little at this point about Alice Gough and her husband, Edward Dunn. They were married on 14 January 1861 at St. Gabriel’s Church in Hazleton, where their two known daughters — Mary and Elizabeth — were also baptized, with Alice’s parents, Peter Gough and Letitia Nulty serving as baptismal sponsors for her second daughter, Elizabeth.
The family is enumerated in 1870 in Hazleton, where Edward worked as a laborer. After that, however, we have no further record of them.
